Thank you.it did cloud over somewhat not long after. Did you hear about the derailment at felixstowe North on Tuesday night.Caused extensive damage to the track so I'm guessing 90% of trains have been cancelled until its fixed.

It's just a shame that all the interesting stuff on this part of the East suffolk lines usually happens after 11pm.I missed 2 class37's with a test train on Thursday night 😧

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV Yep, there's always test trains on the Felixstowe line about every 2-3 weeks. Always passes through around midnight though. Too late for me. Occasionally we get a class 153 in the day time. Last summer my friend caught a class 153 test train at Felixstowe station on a strike day. Hopefully will catch one on camera soon. Haven't seen a class 153 in person for years now. Currently uploading my train spotting video from Trimley today.

@TrainsAtTrimley-eastSuffolk think there was a 153 test train on the east suffolk line 2weeks ago but didn't bother to go see it.Will look forward to new vid 😀👍

Wasn't until I got home that I found out I had filmed this before but it was 5yrs ago. I did miss the Sizewell Drs trains at 8am the next morning so that was a bummer.

I like the sound of class66 power ups as well.I missed 2 class37's with a test train last night.It was due at Woodbridge at 23:15 but was 30minutes early and I somehow fell asleep and woke up at midnight 😧

There is also another steam train (Britannia) due to go through on may28th so might go and film that as well.

I did miss the freightliner going through after 8am as was paying more attention on the other way incase Royal scot was early.I left after the steam train and went to film at Westerfield.

Thank you.When it was wet and muddy you could get on the bridge but now it's dried up they closed it.Was a nice friendly driver.I filmed this in HDR but will go back to other settings as trying to get thumbnails isn't great as hdr just makes it blurry/ghostly.

Thanks for watching.There is a steam train going through ipswich and Stowmarket on 8th May although new strikes are on those days so don't know if that will affect it.

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV Sadly Gonna have to miss the steam train as it is too early for me and I busy that Wednesday unfortunately. There are a few more steam trains to arrive at Ipswich later on in the year though. Hopefully I might go and see them. The lsl blue Pullman is also due to come to Ipswich during the summer. I want to see that as never seen a hst in person before. Want to see it as they not local in Suffolk and these famous British trains won't be around for ever. I'm sure the strikes won't affect the rail tour as there should be less trains running. Makes it easier for them as hopefully less delays. Will be more freight trains though.

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV If I was available that day I would see it at Ipswich. The timing for that rail tour is perfect for me as would get there at 11:30 and do other train spotting before hand at Ipswich. If it was the same date a month later I could of gone and seen it. Life is so annoying sometimes. I would like to see Britannia some time in the future, hopefully they get her working again for that railtour.

Trinity House has a base a harwich so patricia,galatea and alert are fairly regular visitors.

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV I saw Galatea when it sailed up to London but that is the one one.

@ThamesShips havnt seen galatea for a while but she has been around recently and thv alert has been in dry Dock up at lowestoft.

@@UKShipspottingRailFreightTV On the PLA website, if you look at the ship movement section, at the bottom of the screen, they now have the old format back again when you can look at all the departures / arrivals on one screen instead of having to scroll through them all.
